Local Artist shows "Matriarch" in Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Broward County, FL - Broward based artist Tara Chadwick brings digital art to a new show in Palma de Mallorca, Spain this week. After a well attended opening reception and art party this weekend, the show has already produced its first sale. Digital work by Tara Chadwick included in the show was featured as  public art billboard in the Allapattah neighborhood of Miami during Art Basel/ Miami Art Week last year. The piece titled "Matriarch" was also shown at London Contemporary during Frieze last week, and earlier this summer in Zurich and Venice.

Chadwick hopes to inspire a greater sense of  appreciation and personal accountability among her audience and collectors when it comes to issues of climate, water and biodiversity.

"We all need to take part in our responsibity to care for Mother Earth and each other, and I hope seeing this image will help people find peace, balance and a practice of taking action!" TChadwick

The show includes a variety of works including photography, sculpture and mixed media and is organized by Jenny Rose of Art Box Projects based in Zurich, Switzerland in collaboration with World Wide Galleries and Artboxy.
